JSC Kaztemirtrans to acquire 13,000 freight cars by 2032

JSC Kaztemirtrans continues its systematic efforts to renew and develop its railcar fleet, placing special emphasis on acquiring new rolling stock and maintaining the technical readiness of its current fleet.

As part of the renewal program from 2023 to 2025, JSC Kaztemirtrans acquired 3,000 gondola cars manufactured by Kazakhstan Railcar-Building Company LLP. The new rolling stock is used to transport socially vital cargo (coal, grain), helping boost the stability of the country's economic transport supply.

In line with development plans from 2027 to 2031, JSC Kaztemirtrans plans to acquire 13,000 freight cars, including 10,000 gondola cars, 2,100 boxcars, and 900 grain hopper cars.

Currently, the JSC Kaztemirtrans fleet consists of over 39,500 freight cars.
