Capital's Schoolchildren Reminded of Railway Safety Rules
22-09-2026
Railway workers conducted a safety prevention lesson for senior students of School No. 25 in Astana.
The lesson was held as part of the nationwide campaign "Safe Railway," conducted by KTZ across the country, as well as events under the "Law and Order" concept and the national upbringing program "Adal Azamat" (Honest Citizen).
The school is located near railway tracks, so special attention during the meeting was paid to the rules of conduct in high-hazard zones. Zhanbolat Sapargaliyev, a track engineer from the Astana Track Distance, explained to the students why the railway is not a place for games.
The schoolchildren were reminded of the core rules: cross the tracks only in designated areas, do not step onto the tracks when the signal light is red or the barrier is closed, do not play near the railway, and do not approach a moving train.
"Law and order are the foundation of safety. Be cautious on the railway and do not put your life at risk!" Zhanbolat Sapargaliyev noted.
Yerzhan Bolatuly, Deputy Director for Upbringing at School No. 25, emphasized that such meetings help foster a responsible attitude toward personal safety in children and prevent accidents.
Railway workers are conducting similar safety lessons across the country.
