Best Railway Track Distance: The Best Team of Track Workers is in Kulsary

Based on the results of 2025, the Kulsary Track Distance of the Atyrau Branch of the Mainline Network was recognized as the best in the "ҮЗДІК ЖОЛ ДИСТАНЦИЯСЫ" (Best Track Distance) category. The team was awarded the challenge banner.

The track workers achieved this high result through systematic work aimed at improving the reliability and technical condition of the railway infrastructure.

The Kulsary Track Distance includes 11 track sections, production shops, and mechanical workshops. Its service area comprises four linear stations, seven separation points, the 1st-class Kulsary station, 11 railway bridges, 18 crossings, and about 100 concrete pipes.

One of the key focus areas was ensuring traffic safety and preventing livestock from entering the railway tracks. In 2024, 32 kilometers of fencing were installed along the railway, and in 2025, another 64 kilometers were added.

The renewal and repair of the railway track are ongoing. In 2025, 26 kilometers underwent capital repairs, with another 30 kilometers planned for 2026. Switch switches are updated annually, with 10 new switches laid in both 2024 and 2025.

Special attention is paid to modernizing production infrastructure and improving working conditions for railway workers. The timekeeping building at Borankul station was repaired, and a capital renovation of the boiler house building at Kulsary station was carried out. In the Shokpartogay production area, a water supply system was installed, and a new transformer was set up.

Efforts to strengthen the material and technical base, enhance infrastructure reliability, and ensure traffic safety remain ongoing.
