At a rapid pace: KTZ and Wabtec have already completed 30% of the children’s creative palace in the Kyzylorda region

The construction of a major social facility — the Children’s Creative Palace — is unfolding at a rapid pace in the Aral district of the Kyzylorda region (Sekseul village). This large-scale project is being implemented as part of the expanding long-term strategic cooperation between JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and Wabtec, a global technology leader.

To date, construction workers have already completed 30% of the total planned work, strictly adhering to the schedule. The development of modern educational infrastructure in Kazakhstan's regions has become a key vector of social interaction between KTZ and Wabtec. The future Creative Palace is designed as a multifunctional innovation hub. It will bring together under one roof: a House for Schoolchildren with 100 places and an Arts School with 50 places.

The total area of the ultra-modern two-story building will be at least 1,950 square meters. It will provide all the necessary conditions to unlock the creative, intellectual, and scientific potential of children in the Aral region, ensuring their access to high-quality, world-class extracurricular education.

The construction of this facility has a direct positive impact on the economy of the Kyzylorda region. More than 120 highly qualified specialists are involved in the project. High-quality domestic building materials are strictly and widely used in the construction of the building. After the facility is commissioned, about 100 permanent jobs will be created in the region for teachers, administrative, and technical staff.

Support for such initiatives by Wabtec highlights the deep commitment of the American manufacturing giant to the principles of sustainable development (ESG) and high social responsibility in its countries of operation. By investing in the younger generation of Kazakhstanis together with KTZ, the partners are laying a solid foundation for the future progress and prosperity of the region.
