Aktobe railway workers discussed constitutional reform with the State Advisor and the Public

A large-scale meeting to explain the provisions of the upcoming national referendum was held in Aktobe. State Adviser of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin served as the keynote speaker.

Representatives of the public association "For the People's Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan" Daniya Yespayeva, Yerlan Sarsembayev, Raushan Kazhibayeva and others, as well as regional Akim Askhat Shakharov, Chairman of the Management  Board of NC KTZ JSC Talgat Aldybergenov, and workers from the Aktobe Railway Division and the Aktobe Rail and Section Plant also participated in the discussion.

The central theme of the meeting was the discussion of constitutional reforms as a strategic direction for national development. The State Adviser emphasized the important role of railway workers in ensuring the sustainability of the national economy. He noted that the draft updated version of the Basic Law strengthens the social focus of state policy, enshrines additional guarantees for the protection of labor rights, and elevates the status of working people.

Summing up, the meeting participants noted that the proposed constitutional amendments are aimed at strengthening the state's responsibility to citizens and creating a solid legal foundation for the country's long-term development. An open question-and-answer session concluded the meeting.
