The renovation of the Aksu-2 railway station, originally built in 1981, has been fully completed in the Pavlodar Region. The work was carried out as part of the country's railway station modernization program, implemented on the instructions of the Head of State.

During the reconstruction, the building's roof and facade were updated, and interior finishing of the premises was completed. The water supply, sewerage, and heating systems were completely replaced, and the electrical and low-voltage networks were modernized. In addition, the grounds adjacent to the station were landscaped.

The station is classified as Type 2. Its average daily passenger traffic is about 72 people. Eight passenger trains run through the station, connecting Aksu with Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Mangistau.

The project was implemented using the own funds of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport, JSC "Samruk-Kazyna," and the Akimat of the Pavlodar Region.
