A rail safety awareness raid was conducted on the Uralsk – Zhilayevo section

A joint preventive raid to prevent injuries on railway transport facilities was held on the Uralsk – Zhilayevo section. The event took place as part of the "Safe Railway" campaign, conducted nationwide by KTZ to implement the "Law and Order" Concept.

The raid was attended by railway workers, officers from the transport police department of the Uralsk station, the departmental railway security service, and the Transport Control Inspection for the West Kazakhstan Region. 

Preventive activities were carried out near Car City in Uralsk and at the Zhilayevo station. It is in these specific areas where residents most frequently cross railway tracks in unauthorized places, posing a threat to their lives and train traffic

The raid participants conducted awareness-raising work with residents of the areas located near the railway.

They were reminded of the rules for safely crossing railway tracks, handed information leaflets, and warned about administrative liability. Special attention was paid to preventing incidents of teenagers throwing stones at passing trains.

Railway workers remind that crossing railway tracks in unauthorized places entails administrative liability.

KTZ urges citizens to observe safety rules and cross railway tracks only in specially designated areas.
