150,000 tons of steel pipes via multimodal route: KTZ's new logistics project
22-09-2026
JSC "Kedentransservice," a subsidiary of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy," is implementing a large-scale logistics project to organize the multimodal transportation of over 150,000 tons of steel pipes from China.
The shipments are carried out via rail and road transport along two routes: import deliveries to Kazakhstan and transit transportation to Turkmenistan.
In September–October of this year, the planned transportation volume will reach 163,000 tons of steel pipes.
Organizing these shipments requires strict compliance with specialized loading and securing technologies, as well as precise coordination between rail and road transport. The expertise of Kedentransservice, along with its own fleet based at the Transport Holding of Kazakhstan (a subsidiary), allows the company to develop flexible multimodal solutions and provide end-to-end logistics management to the final destination.
By developing its own transport and terminal capabilities, the company continues to strengthen its position in the international logistics market while expanding the geography of its multimodal operations.
