A celebratory event dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Zhemskoye Locomotive Depot, one of the oldest enterprises in Kazakhstan's railway industry and the first point where the country's rail history began, was held in the Aktobe region.
The depot was founded in 1905 as a locomotive workshop for the Orenburg Railway. Over the years, it has evolved from servicing the first steam locomotives to operating modern diesel locomotives, maintaining its status as an important link in Kazakhstan's railway system.
Today, the Zhemskoye Depot provides freight and passenger service, maintaining its traditions and demonstrating professionalism and responsibility.
In honor of the anniversary, the company's best employees were awarded certificates of honor, letters of gratitude, and the titles "Uzdik Maman," "Adal Enbegі Ushіn," "Kurmet Gramotasy," "Uzdik Mashinist," and "Uzdik Mashinist Kөmekshіsі."
The awards were presented by the management of KTZ – Freight Transportation LLC, its branch in the Aktobe region, and representatives of local executive authorities.
The anniversary was a significant event not only for the depot staff but also for the entire railway industry in the region.
