Railway workers held an eco-cleaning day as part of the republican initiative "Taza Qazaqstan"

An eco-cleaning day was held in Almaty on the territory of the airport lake, organized by young railway workers as part of the republican initiative "Taza Qazaqstan".

During the event, the participants cleared the coastal zone of household waste, plastic and glass waste. As a result of the cleanup, 68 kilograms of recyclable materials were collected, transferred for recycling, and 71 kilograms of non-recyclable waste, removed with the support of the Akimat of the Turksib district.

The event was attended by railway activists, representatives of the environmental community Recycle BIRGE and volunteers.
