As part of the Year of Blue-Collar Jobs, the KTZ branch "Center for Assessment and Development of Railway Transport Personnel" hosted the Forum "Senimdi Tulek", which brought together about 200 participants, including 60 students, 45 teachers and managers from 26 specialized secondary educational institutions from all over Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport. Experts discussed issues of education quality and graduate employment in the railway industry of Kazakhstan.
It was noted that in the context of the current transformation of the labor market, the railway industry needs an influx of young qualified personnel. In this regard, work is underway to increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs in the industry.
During the tour of the KTZ Training Center, students and teachers saw for themselves that the company places great emphasis on practice, introducing various elements, from laboratory classes to internships at real railway facilities. The center has unique simulators of the TE33A diesel locomotive and the KZ8A electric locomotive, a 3D laboratory with VR technologies, and a training ground. Modern simulators and trainers bring the training process as close as possible to real working conditions, allow you to hone your skills to automatism and be prepared for non-standard situations.
The college directors liked the message from KTZ that the company is ready to provide practical training services for students within the walls of the KTZ Training Center with the receipt of the appropriate certificates.
The railway workers have developed a training program with practical classes on simulators aimed at developing professional competencies and skills in students necessary for working on modern rolling stock.
Also within the framework of the event, a Memorandum was signed between the KTZ Training Center and the Aktobe College of Transport, Communications, New Technologies, as well as the Karaganda Railway College on cooperation in training personnel for the railway industry.
