Track repair plan for 2025 exceeded

As of December 1, 2025, 1,499 km of track repairs had been completed, compared to the planned 1,480 km.

The following types of work were completed:
- Major track repairs – 512 km, with the track and sleeper grid fully laid in all regions of the country;
- Component track repairs – 278 km;
- Scheduled preventive maintenance – 709 km.

An additional 45 km of track is planned for repair by the end of 2025.

This repair work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the election program of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "A Fair Kazakhstan – for Everyone. Now and Forever."

According to the large-scale modernization program for railway infrastructure through 2029, 11,000 km of track are planned to be renovated. As of December 1, 2025, 4,372 km of track have been repaired between 2023 and 2025, representing 40% of the planned volume.

Work is planned for 2026 on 1,577 km of track, representing a 10% increase compared to the 2025 plan.
