Spring inspection: locomotives are getting ready for summer

From April 10 to May 31, 2025, KTZ is conducting a spring inspection of the locomotive fleet. The event is aimed at timely preparation of equipment for the summer operating period. As part of the inspection, over 1.5 thousand locomotives of various series are subject to inspection.

Locomotive operating depots, locomotive maintenance points and locomotive repair enterprises are ready to perform the necessary work to transfer locomotives to summer operation. Along with the technical inspection, the equipment is brought into proper cultural and aesthetic condition: locomotive crews paint the bodies, update the workplaces in the driver's cabins. Particular attention is paid to compliance with safety and labor protection requirements. All work is carried out using personal protective equipment, which guarantees the safety of personnel and the quality of the activities performed.

Spring commission inspection is an important stage in ensuring the reliability and safety of summer transportation.
