A sports complex for railway workers opens at Bershugir Station

Renovations to the sports complex for track section workers at Bershugir Station in Aktobe Region have been completed. The decision to carry out the work was made at the initiative of the workforce and the trade union committee. The station employs 124 people, and previously, the small station lacked social facilities for leisure and sports.

The 488 m² facility is equipped with modern sports equipment: a treadmill, horizontal bars, strength training equipment, and table tennis and volleyball courts.
 

The complex already hosts recreational activities and sports classes. A Greco-Roman wrestling class, led by a visiting coach, has been opened for children of railway workers.

The opening of the renovated sports facility marked a significant milestone in the development of the social infrastructure at Bershugir station and created additional conditions for improving the health of track section workers and their families.
