In September, over 1 million tons of grain were transported by rail

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC is ensuring stable transportation of new-harvest grain during the 2025–2026 season. Over the 28 days of September this year, 1,171,000 tons of grain were shipped, a 19% increase compared to the same period last year.

Domestic shipments totaled 287,000 tons (an increase of 65% compared to 2024). Exports totaled 884,000 tons (an increase of 9% compared to 2024). Significant growth was noted in shipments to Central Asian countries—555,000 tons (an increase of 33%)—and in shipments to ports in the Russian Federation and the Baltics—138,000 tons (an increase of 142%).

KTZ continues its coordinated efforts to navigate the grain season, actively collaborating with shippers, railcar operators, industry associations, and central government agencies. The company's locomotive and railcar fleet, as well as its infrastructure, are fully prepared to handle increased transportation volumes.

To promptly resolve any issues that arise, KTZ headquarters and specialized grain teams continue to operate at its headquarters and in its regions.
