Samruk-Kazyna's corporate ombudsmen visited key machine-building plants in the capital

Samruk-Kazyna's corporate ombudsmen, led by Serikbay Trumov, paid a working visit to three of the capital's largest plants: Stadler Kazakhstan LLP, Lokomotiv Kurastyru Zauyty JSC, and the Alstom plant. Corporate ombudsmen from the fund's subsidiaries also participated in the event.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with production processes, working conditions at the plants, and corporate culture, as well as to assess the interaction mechanism between workforces and the corporate ombudsman institution.

"The corporate ombudsman institution is an instrument of trust and balance between the interests of employees and employers. Our goal is to ensure an atmosphere of respect, fairness, and open dialogue," noted Serikbay Trumov.

Samruk-Kazyna Fund consistently implements a policy of developing corporate governance, work ethics, and sustainable development. Today, the ombudsman institution operates in all key companies of the fund and plays a vital role in strengthening trust, increasing employee engagement, and fostering a healthy work environment.

During the visit, it was noted that modern technologies are being successfully implemented at the companies, the qualifications of personnel are improving, and 99% of employees are specialists from Kazakhstan, who undergo professional training both domestically and abroad in partnership with leading global companies.

The development of locomotive and railcar manufacturing contributes to the creation of new high-paying jobs, the development of engineering competencies, and stimulates the development of related industries such as metallurgy, electrical engineering, logistics, and services.

The establishment and expansion of production sites by Wabtec, Stadler, and Alstom confirms long-term plans to strengthen Kazakhstan's mechanical engineering potential and integrate it into global technology chains.
