KTZ revealed theft of diesel fuel in the Karaganda region

As a result of joint operational and investigative measures carried out by the management of the Karaganda operational locomotive depot and employees of the linear police department of the Karaganda-Sortirovochnaya station, the theft of diesel fuel in large quantities was revealed.

Illegal actions were committed by locomotive crews (train drivers and assistant locomotive drivers) working on the Tegizhol station - Uglerudnaya-Dubovkaya section. The amount of damage caused was over 7.7 million tenge.

As part of the investigation, KTZ - Freight Transportation LLC was recognized as the injured party and filed a civil claim against the suspects.

Following the trial held on March 17, 2025, the suspects were found guilty by the court of committing a criminal offense. Each of them was sentenced to a 2-year restriction of liberty with probationary control for the entire period.

The damage caused to the enterprise was fully compensated. The sentence entered into legal force.
