Record growth in high-tech feed exports to China by rail

From September 2024 to April 2025, rail deliveries of high-tech feed from Kazakhstan to China increased 5-fold compared to the same period of the previous marketing year, reaching 1.2 million tons. Through the Dostyk station, feed transportation increased 6-fold - up to 353 thousand tons, through Altynkol - 5-fold and amounted to over 900 thousand tons.

From January to April 2025, the volume of feed transportation amounted to 785 thousand tons, which is 5 times higher than the figure for the same period in 2024. At the same time, deliveries through the Dostyk station increased 7 times - up to 216 thousand tons, through
Altynkol - 4.5 times, up to 567 thousand tons.

Growth is observed both in the segment of transportation in covered wagons (an increase of 2 times) and in containers (an increase of 5 times).

Such results became possible thanks to the coordinated work of the railway administrations of Kazakhstan and China, the agricultural sector, rolling stock operators and all participants in the logistics chain.
