The reconstruction of the Uralsk railway station is under constant review

Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, and Miras Mulkai, Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region, conducted an on-site inspection of the reconstruction of the Uralsk railway station.

The station building consists of two blocks. The first floor includes the vestibule, ticket office, administrative offices, medical and police stations, and a refreshment bar. The second floor houses a waiting room and additional administrative offices.

The reconstruction includes a redesign of the interior spaces, including the installation of mother-and-child rooms and a cafeteria. The project also includes the construction of an extension—a concourse—connecting the station building with platforms 2 and 3. The station's area is planned to be increased from 5,716.1 to 6,972.8 square meters, of which the concourse will occupy 660 square meters. Work is also underway to reconstruct the passenger platforms, improve the surrounding area, plant landscaping, and install concrete sidewalks. The station complex will have a capacity of 700 passengers.

Currently, façade, interior finishing, and engineering work are underway, along with the construction of the concourse and the improvement of the platform area.

KazConstructionGroup LLP is the general contractor for the project.

NC KTZ JSC is continuously monitoring the construction progress to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of all project stages in accordance with the approved schedule.
