Railway workers discussed occupational safety issues in the context of climate change

A republican seminar on labor protection and safety of employees of KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The central topic of this year's seminar was the impact of climate change on occupational safety and health.

Thematic seminars and round tables with the participation of representatives of the state labor inspectorate, trade unions and employers were held in all branches and divisions of KTZ. Issues of ensuring safety in the workplace, strengthening preventive measures and developing a culture of labor protection were discussed.

Traditionally, competitions were held as part of the events, information posters and other visual agitation tools were prepared, aimed at raising awareness among employees.

Consultations with psychologists and stress management specialists were organized in locomotive depots, aimed at maintaining the psychological well-being of employees.

The main goal of the company is to achieve zero injuries. The main way to achieve this goal is effective prevention and strict compliance with labor safety requirements. Each employee is required to strictly follow safety rules and demonstrate intolerance to any violations.

The company continues to implement the programs "Behavioral Safety Dialogues", "Stop the Danger!" and "Incidents without Consequences". As part of the zero-injury policy, each employee has the right to refuse to perform work if it poses a threat to life or health.
