Railway workers discussed integrating occupational safety into business processes

The 7th Industrial Safety Forum of NC KTZ JSC was held in Shymkent. The event was attended by representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC portfolio companies, partner organizations, the Samruk Business Academy, and employees at all levels of KTZ.

Participants exchanged practical experiences and identified key areas for further improvement of the corporate safety system. Of particular interest were presentations by specialists from DB Engineering & Consulting, the Russian Research Institute of Occupational Safety, and the State Labor Inspectorate for Shymkent. The lively discussions at the panel sessions organized during the Forum were also noteworthy. Forum participants also viewed videos showcasing the work of internal trainers and the practices of companies that have successfully maintained a zero-injury rate for over 30 years. The forum included an awards ceremony honoring employees who demonstrated a high level of responsibility and professionalism. Additionally, companies that had successfully operated for a significant period without an injury were awarded certificates of trust.

The forum became an important platform for strengthening corporate safety culture and sharing effective practices. Participants emphasized that the integration of occupational safety into business processes should be ensured by systematically incorporating occupational safety requirements, procedures, and control measures into all key stages of the Company's operations. It was emphasized that safety issues should not be considered in isolation, but rather as an integral part of production planning, management decisions, resource provision, work execution, and department performance evaluation.

Concluding the discussion, the participants outlined a set of practical recommendations for developing the integration of occupational safety into business processes.
