Railway workers actively prevent accidents at crossings

In the first half of 2025, railway workers together with the police conducted about 990 preventive raids at railway crossings. During the events, 123 violations of the rules for crossing them were identified.

As part of the information and explanatory work, more than 44 thousand drivers were reminded of the rules for safe passage through crossings. Lectures on the importance of observing traffic rules were held at 365 enterprises, covering 8,508 employees. Particular attention is paid to the fact that a railway crossing is a high-risk area, where the price of a mistake can be high.

To improve safety, visibility was improved at 76 crossings, 153 propaganda materials - slogans and posters were placed.

KTZ calls on drivers to strictly observe traffic rules and exercise maximum caution when crossing railway tracks.
