Railway – a high-risk zone

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC is strengthening measures to ensure safety on the railway. Large-scale, systematic work is being carried out in all regions, including with local executive bodies, to strengthen prevention and improve safety.
For 8 months of 2025, effective steps were taken within the framework of a special action plan:
- 122 meetings of coordination councils were held with the participation of representatives of the transport prosecutor's office, police, transport control authorities, the media and specialized services. Joint measures were considered to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the tracks.
- 2,177 explanatory meetings were organized with the population living near the railway infrastructure. Coverage - more than 21.6 thousand citizens.
- In 1,041 educational institutions, talks were held with students on the topic "The railway is a high-risk zone". More than 28.6 thousand schoolchildren were informed.
- 442 appearances were made in regional media, including on radio and television, with the participation of managers calling for caution near the railway.
- 2,142 raids were organized together with law enforcement agencies in places of mass unauthorized crossing of tracks. Preventive talks were held with violators.
- 693 warning signs in high-risk areas were updated.
KTZ considers ensuring safety not only a priority, but also a collective responsibility. The company will continue active educational and preventive activities to preserve the health and lives of citizens.
