Over 38 million tons of coal transported by rail during the season

During the 2024-2025 heating season (May to November 13), approximately 38.3 million tons of coal were delivered via the KTZ network, exceeding the same period last year by 1.3 million tons (+4%). 34.6 million tons of coal were transported to the country's combined heat and power plants (+1.9 million tons, or +6%), and 3.7 million tons of fuel were shipped to the municipal sector. According to local authorities, coal operators have accumulated a municipal coal reserve of approximately 432,000 tons at their warehouses.

All transportation of thermal and municipal coal is being carried out in full. KTZ ensures a sufficient fleet of railcars and constantly monitors the loading of solid fuel.

Deliveries are proceeding as scheduled, there are no coal shortages, queues, or surge demand. All categories of consumers are receiving fuel in a timely manner.

The total coal inventory in Ust-Kamenogorsk is 11,150 tons, including 6,300 tons in the Seikom LLC sidings and 1,500 tons in the TKT LLC sidings. Deliveries to the city continue regularly, maintaining a stable inventory level.

NC KTZ JSC continues to ensure stable and uninterrupted coal delivery to all categories of consumers. The company encourages coal operators and shippers to submit transportation requests in a timely manner, especially during the autumn and winter season.
