Over 20,000 citizens were explained the rules of safe behavior on the railway

In the first quarter of 2025, railway workers held 843 information and educational events among residents of populated areas and in educational institutions located near the railway. The meetings discussed the rules of safe crossing of railway tracks. These events brought together more than 21 thousand participants. In addition, 257 preventive raids were conducted with the employees of the LOVD in places of unauthorized crossing of railway tracks.

An analysis of incidents shows that all cases of hitting people are associated with personal carelessness. The main causes of tragedies are crossing railway tracks in unauthorized places, inattention and alcohol intoxication.

KTZ calls on citizens to strictly observe safety rules on the railway. Be careful, do not risk your life and the lives of others - follow the rules and stay safe.
