Over 200 km of railway track will be rehabilitated in Pavlodar region in 2025

Railway workers of the Pavlodar branch of the KTZ main network will overhaul 59.3 km of track on the Yerkenshilik-Yedyge, Sorokovaya-Sary-Oba, Aksu-1 - Aksu-2, Sputnik-Bastau sections in 2025.

It is also planned:

• intensive and medium track repairs in the amount of 5.26 km of track at the Ekibastuz-Severny-1 and Ekibastuz-Severny-2 stations;
   
• continuous replacement of rail supports on 10.2 km of track, with the laying of more than 15 thousand reinforced concrete sleepers using the SMD-80 machine on the OP-116-Shiderty section;
   
• continuous replacement of 70 sets of turnouts.

Using heavy-duty machines (RM, DM, DGS, PBR, PRB, Unimat, DESEC), the condition of more than 150 km of the railway track will be improved. Pavlodar railway workers will perform deep cutting of contaminated ballast, track alignment, alignment and tamping of the track and turnouts.

In total, 1,480 km of railway will be repaired in Kazakhstan in 2025. In 2024, 1,407 km were modernized, of which 570 km were covered by major repairs.
