New power facilities have been commissioned on the Dostyk-Moiynty section

As part of the "Construction of Second Tracks on the Dostyk-Moiynty Railway Section" project, work has been completed to commission new power infrastructure facilities.

A 110 kV overhead power line, 109 kilometers long, has been commissioned between the Dostyk and Akshi substations. The Dostyk substation has also been reconstructed, increasing its capacity to 16,000 kV.

The newly constructed power facilities will ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply to strategically important nodes—railway infrastructure, life support systems, sections of the state border, and transshipment points. Additionally, approximately 2,000 customers at Dostyk station and adjacent areas will be provided with a stable power supply.

The project will contribute to the development of transport infrastructure and improve the efficiency of rail transportation on one of the key international routes.
