01-10-2025

A strategically important Action Plan to eliminate bottlenecks on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) was signed at the 7th New Silk Way International Transport and Logistics Business Forum held in Almaty. The document was signed by NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC , CJSC Azerbaijan Railways, and JSC Georgian Railway.

The goal of the plan is to improve the efficiency and continuity of transportation along the TITR route, which is becoming a key Eurasian corridor between China, Central Asia, and Europe.

Thus, the three railway administrations signed a document aimed at further integrating logistics processes and developing the route's infrastructure, as well as synchronizing its development.

Key areas of the strategic document:
- Establishing a single long-term tariff for the entire TITR route.
- Increasing throughput capacity along the route.

The parties agreed to jointly coordinate efforts to develop port, rail, and logistics infrastructure, eliminate bottlenecks, and digitalize procedures.

The signed document marks a new stage in the development of the TITR as a sustainable, competitive, and strategically important route, strengthening Kazakhstan's role as a key link in the Eurasian transport system.
