New Comfort+ class carriages have started running on the Astana-Karaganda route

Passenger Transportation JSC is launching a new Comfort+ electric train on route No. 6857/6858 Astana-Karaganda. The new third-class train is characterized by an increased level of comfort and meets modern European standards. The electric train includes 6 carriages and is designed for 576 seats. The cabin has an improved layout, is equipped with comfortable seats and a modern interior.

Special attention in the new electric train is paid to accessibility and inclusiveness. Each carriage is equipped with bio-toilets, including specially equipped cabins for passengers with limited mobility. The train is also equipped with platform lifts on both sides, which ensures accessibility for people with disabilities.

Для удобства пожилых людей и пассажиров с детьми внедрены автоматические выдвижные подножки, упрощающие посадку и высадку на станциях. Каждое посадочное место оборудовано USB-разъёмами для зарядки мобильных устройств. В вагонах установлен вендинговый автомат для покупки напитков и легких закусок в пути.

For the convenience of elderly people and passengers with children, automatic retractable footrests have been introduced, simplifying boarding and disembarking at stations. Each seat is equipped with USB ports for charging mobile devices. The carriages are equipped with a vending machine for buying drinks and light snacks on the way.

Visually, the train has an updated appearance, made in the uniform corporate style of the National Carrier. For locomotive crews, the driver's cabin has modern ergonomic seats with a multi-position adjustment system, providing comfort and reduced stress during the trip.

The electric train will run daily without changing the schedule and route. The fare on the route is 3,202 tenge.

By the end of June, as part of the rolling stock renewal program, JSC Passenger Transportation plans to receive and put into operation 6 more new electric trains of the first, second and third classes.
