Negotiations on increasing transportation of agricultural products along the TITR

A meeting was held in Astana between the management of KTZ Express JSC (a subsidiary of KTZ) and Shandong Hi-Speed Group, one of the largest Chinese companies in the field of transport and logistics infrastructure. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for increasing the volume of cargo transportation, expanding cooperation and introducing new logistics solutions.

The key topics of the meeting were: increasing the volume of transportation of agricultural products along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR); increasing the number of container trains to Central Asian countries; the possibility of using double-deck containers to improve transportation efficiency.

The negotiations confirmed the mutual interest of Kazakhstan and China in strengthening transport and logistics ties and developing multimodal routes.

The companies will continue to cooperate within the framework of the strategic partnership agreement signed in December 2024.

The development of joint logistics projects between KTZ Express and Shandong Hi-Speed Group opens up new opportunities for increasing cargo flow between Kazakhstan and China, as well as for integrating countries into international transport chains.
