NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy  JSC and AD Ports Group discussed prospects for cooperation

Astana, October 2, 2025 – A meeting was held between JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) and AD Ports Group (ADPG). The parties discussed current interactions and future areas of cooperation in transport logistics.

Particular attention was paid to the development of multimodal transportation and opportunities for cooperation at the Port of Karachi, where AD Ports Group holds a long-term concession at the East Quay and operates modern terminals. This area is seen as key to route diversification and enhancing the resilience of international supply chains.

During the meeting, it was noted that Kazakhstan occupies a strategic position at the intersection of the East-West and North-South international transport corridors. Joint initiatives by KTZ and AD Ports Group are aimed at strengthening the country's transit potential, expanding the geography of routes, and developing sustainable supply chains.

 

For reference: AD Ports Group is the United Arab Emirates' leading port and logistics company, managing more than 25 ports and terminals worldwide and implementing projects to develop trade and transport links between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Following the talks, the parties confirmed their intention to develop cooperation in developing sustainable transport corridors involving Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
