National carrier launches women's carriage on route №614/613 "Uralsk-Mangistau"

JSC "Passenger Transportation" will launch a women's carriage on train №614/613 on the "Uralsk-Mangistau" route from June 1. Thus, with the introduction of the new carriage, the total number of routes with the "Women's Carriage" service will be increased to 12. Currently, women's carriages operate on the following routes:

• №77/78 "Almaty - Mangistau";
• №351/352 "Almaty - Mangistau";
• №45/46 "Pavlodar - Turkistan";
• №37/38 "Mangistau - Semey";
• №47/48 "Atyrau - Astana";
• №33/34 "Aktobe - Almaty";
• №4/3 "Astana - Almaty";
• №71/72 "Astana - Shymkent";
• №354/353 "Astana - Semey";
• №24/23 "Aktobe - Almaty";
• №25/26 "Almaty - Shymkent";
• №614/613 "Uralsk - Mangystau".

Tickets for women's carriages are sold only to women and only female conductors work in these carriages. Also, male passengers under seven years of age are allowed to travel in "women's carriages".

Tickets for the women's carriage can be purchased at the station ticket office, having informed the cashier in advance about the need to select a seat, or online on the website bilet.railways.kz. When booking online, pay attention to the abbreviation "ЖН" (women's), which indicates that the ticket is sold only for the women's carriage.

Tickets are available on the official website bilet.railways.kz. Sales open 45 days before departure, which gives passengers the opportunity to plan their trip in advance.
