The Mangistau branch of the main network reported on plans for summer track work

In 2025, Mangistau railway workers plan to cover about 125 km of track with all types of repairs.

15.7 km of the track on the Sai-Otes - rzd.7 section will be overhauled. Also planned are intensive and medium repairs of the station tracks with a length of 23.3 km, replacement of turnouts.

With the help of track rail welding machines, defective areas on the continuous track will be eliminated. Using PM and DUOMAT machines, contaminated ballast will be cleaned, straightened, tamped and aligned on the Beineu - Tassay, Beineu - Sai-Otes sections.

In addition, as part of the summer track work, Mangistau railway workers will repair 450 km and build 107 km of cattle fencing along the railway.
