Makinsk Station Reconstruction Completed

The reconstruction of Makinsk Station in the Akmola Region has been completed. Regional Akim Marat Akhmetzhanov visited the site to inspect the work and review its readiness for operation.

The 340-square-meter building, built in 1988, has undergone a complete renovation. The new station has been brought into line with modern standards: the ticket office and waiting area have been updated, and a mother-and-child room has been equipped. The premises are fully accessible for passengers with limited mobility, with ramps installed, passageways widened, and comfortable sanitary facilities created.

The installation of video surveillance systems, electronic displays, and information panels will be completed soon.

A separate phase of the project includes the reconstruction of the passenger platform. Work is scheduled for after the end of the winter season due to construction and installation technology requirements.

The station is preparing for its opening and will soon welcome its first passengers.
