Major renovation of the locomotive crew rest home at Dostyk Station completed

The locomotive crew rest home at Dostyk Station has reopened after a major renovation. The total area of ​​the renovated facility is 432.6 square meters.

As part of the acceptance process, the commission inspected the completed work, assessed the readiness of the utility rooms and sanitary areas, and verified the facility's compliance with current standards for providing adequate rest conditions for locomotive crews.

The building, constructed in 1960, has 23 beds and 11 rooms accommodating 2-3 people. During the renovation, utility lines were updated, interior finishing work was completed, and finishing materials were replaced. A fully furnished and equipped dining room was also installed.

The building also includes a restroom, shower, laundry, and boiler room. Convenient storage areas for employees' personal belongings have been created, and the surrounding area has been landscaped.
