The launch stage of the new container hub in Aktau will start in June

A meeting of the company's management with the Deputy Governor of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province (PRC) Ma Shiguang and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lianyungang Port Group LLC Wang Guo Chao was held at NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.

The parties discussed the progress of the joint project to build a container hub in the port of Aktau, which will increase the port's throughput capacity to 240 thousand TEU per year and will contribute to the growth of transit traffic between China and Europe through the territory of Kazakhstan. 

The construction of the logistics complex began in November 2024. The launch of the launch complex is planned for June of this year.

The container hub will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the international logistics system and expand the potential of the country's transport and logistics sector.
