KTZ's best railway workers are featured in a video for Republic Day

In the lead-up to Republic Day, the latest video in the "Heroes Among Us" series was shown on the LED screen of the administrative building of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.

The video features 22 railway workers who demonstrated high professionalism, responsibility, and discipline in challenging situations. Thanks to their attentiveness and prompt action, incidents that could have led to serious consequences for traffic safety and the transportation process were prevented.

Among the heroes is Alexander Yakovash, a train conductor at Tobol station, who promptly identified a malfunction on a siding and prevented a derailment of cars; Train conductor Mukhamedkarim Shynbolat of the Karaganda station, who discovered the broken rail; and head of the traffic safety section of the Karaganda freight transportation department, Rakhat Omarov.

Locomotive drivers and assistant drivers at the Yesil and Balkhash locomotive depots—Baurzhan Musayev, Altynbek Sapan, Timur Rakhmetov, Vitaly Andrienko, and Zhanaskar Omarov—ensured traffic safety by promptly identifying the accumulation of meltwater and preventing potential safety violations.

Car inspectors and repairmen at the Kostanay depot, Sergey Stupko and Makshar Zhenistan, discovered damaged roller axle boxes, preventing the cars from derailing. Carriage inspectors Andrei Kolesnikov (Almaty) and Anuar Dunenbayev (Pavlodar), as well as passenger car repair foreman Yerlan Rakhimzhanov (JSC Vagonservis), identified defects in passenger trains, thereby preventing traffic safety violations.

Track section workers also made a significant contribution to ensuring safety.

Atbasar track section foreman Maksim Khlebnikov, fitters Serikbosyn Bekentayev (Ayagoz), General Boshayev and Aliya Akhmaganbetova (Akadyr), Vasily Dzhalalov (Arkalyk), and Olzhasyn Yerzhanov (Kostanay) identified defective and broken rails, preventing potential train derailments.

Akzhayik signaling and communications section electrician Asker Zhumaliyev and Almaty power supply section electrician Marat Shaikenov promptly eliminated dangerous infrastructure defects. Yersain Kuanyshev, a flaw detection trolley operator at Atyrau station, discovered a hidden rail defect that threatened train safety.

JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy expresses its gratitude to its employees, who daily ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of trains throughout the country. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and responsibility serve as an example for the entire team and are worthy of public recognition.
