KTZ Track Diagnostics Center Demonstrates Modern Technologies
16-09-2025
The management of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the branch of NC KTZ JSC – Track Diagnostics Center. Representatives of the Federation got acquainted with the activities of the Center, the working conditions of employees, as well as measures to protect labor and ensure the safety of train traffic.
In recent years, the Center has been actively introducing innovative technologies that increase the efficiency of diagnostics and the level of safety of the railway infrastructure.
During the meeting, the work of mobile diagnostic complexes (MDC) was demonstrated, combining the functions of a track measuring car and a flaw detection car. The company operates seven such complexes equipped with laser systems for measuring track parameters, video monitoring, ultrasonic and magnetic flaw detection. The diagnostic speed has been increased to 90 km / h.
There is also a mobile diagnostic laboratory with the ability to move on roads and railways.
It provides up to 40% control of the condition of the rail bed. The collected data is used to generate a forecast for track repairs for the next year and to transfer the information to the relevant services.
Special attention is paid to the Smart Diagnostics project, which involves the creation of a digital platform for analyzing and storing data on the condition of the track and infrastructure.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the workforce, trade union activists and working youth, where social issues and the role of trade unions in labor relations were discussed.
