KTZ reminds about criminal liability for theft of railway infrastructure parts

The branch of "NC "KTZ" JSC - "Directorate of the main network" in close cooperation with law enforcement agencies is working to prevent crimes related to the theft of railway infrastructure elements. Any outside interference in the activities of railway transport entails criminal liability. 

Last year, during production work at the Igilik-Korgasyn station, track workers of the Shymkent branch of the main network discovered the theft of railway pads. As a result of the prompt actions of law enforcement agencies, the offenders were detained, the court sentenced them to a punishment in the form of 1 year of restriction of freedom.

KTZ reminds that such offenses pose a threat to the safety of cargo and passenger transportation, leading to delays in train traffic.
