KTZ provides support to domestic exporters

According to the results of the first 11 months of 2025, freight volumes on the KTZ network amounted to 287.8 million tons, 11.5 million tons (+4%) higher than the same period in 2024.
Export shipments by rail increased to 80.2 million tons, an increase of 4.9 million tons (+6%) compared to the previous year.

Coal shipments increased by 8% to 31.2 million tons. This growth was driven by increased supplies of solid fuel to Russia, the European Union, and Central Asia.

Grain shipments amounted to 9.7 million tons (+2.6 million tons, +36%). 5.6 million tons (+32%) were shipped to Central Asian countries, including 4.0 million tons (+31%) to
Uzbekistan, 1.3 million tons (+19%) to Tajikistan, and 300,000 tons to Kyrgyzstan (a threefold increase).
800,000 tons of grain were shipped to Iran (a twofold increase).
Transit shipments through Russia increased to 2.2 million tons (a 3.2-fold increase), including:
350,000 tons through Black Sea ports (+51%),
161,000 tons through Baltic ports (+96%),
724,000 tons to the Baltic countries and ports, representing an eightfold increase.

4.2 million tons of processed grain products and animal feed were shipped (+1.5 million tons, +57%). Significant growth was driven by increased feed shipments to China: volumes reached 2.9 million tons, almost four times higher than last year.
