KTZ management held an off-site meeting on tourism development

As part of the launch of the new generation electric train "Burabay Express", Chairman of the Management Board of  NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC Talgat Aldybergenov held an off-site meeting dedicated to the development of tourism and transport infrastructure.

The event was held on board the train on the Astana - Borovoye Resort route with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Transport, "Kazakh Tourism"JSC and the Tourism Committee.

During the meeting, the development of rail links with resort regions (Alakol, Borovoe, Balkhash), modernization of stations and improvement of service quality were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of comfortable conditions for the transportation of passengers. At the same time, it was noted that significant preferential conditions for children's travel on trains create good preconditions for the development of family tourism.

Following the working meeting, the Chairman of the Board instructed to ensure priority movement of passenger trains and reduce deviations from the schedule through prompt response, as well as to increase the emphasis on the development of tourist routes and ensuring traffic safety.

Special attention was paid to the progress of repairs at 125 railway stations across the country. The need for strict adherence to deadlines and high quality of work performed was emphasized.

Improving the level of service at all stages of the trip - from the station to arrival - remains a key priority for KTZ.

The launch of the new generation trains "Burabay Express" is part of the Company's strategy for the development of domestic tourism and the modernization of railway infrastructure.
