KTZ held a working meeting with the management of Austrian Railways

The management of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Management Board of ÖBB-Holding AG (Austrian Federal Railways) A. Matthä.  

During the business meeting, Mr. Matthä was acquainted with the activities and achievements of KTZ, the digitalization carried out on the railway of Kazakhstan, as well as the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and its prospects. 

It was noted that today TITR, with its huge growth potential, is becoming the most important trade artery between Asia and Europe and offers a faster and more reliable alternative to cargo delivery, supported by investments in infrastructure.

In order to provide customers with a full range of logistics services and integrated door-to-door solutions, KTZ is expanding its terminal infrastructure both within the country and abroad. Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in the implementation of joint logistics projects, which will also have an impact on securing Kazakhstan’s status as the region’s leading transit hub.
