KTZ fire service employees completed training

A seminar for employees of the non-governmental KTZ fire service was held in Kokshetau on the topic of "Modern methods of fire hazard analysis and fire protection of facilities". The event was attended by representatives of the Akmola Region Department of Emergency Situations, the Civil Defense Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Higher Multidisciplinary College of Civil Defense and the military department of the A. Myrzakhmetov University.

The seminar discussed issues of interaction between government agencies and railway workers in emergency situations, equipping railway infrastructure facilities with automatic fire alarm systems, training specialists and ensuring safety during the transportation of hazardous goods. Particular attention was paid to the combat readiness of fire trains and conducting fire-technical examination.

A business game on conducting fire-technical inspections of KTZ facilities was held for the participants. The practical part was held on the territory of the fuel depot, where an exercise was held to extinguish a simulated fire on a 3,000 m³ tank. The seminar is aimed at improving the professional training of employees, developing cooperation with relevant departments and improving the fire protection system of KTZ facilities.
