KTZ Conducts Training on Energy Efficiency and Digital Control Systems

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC continues its systematic work to improve the qualifications of its engineering and technical personnel. Training seminars for heat engineering engineers and driver instructors were held in three cities—Pavlodar, Uralsk, and Taraz—on the topic of "Standardization of Fuel and Energy Resource Consumption for Train Traction and Operation of Information Systems."

Such events play a key role in the professional development of specialists involved in standardization, accounting, and control of fuel and energy resource consumption. The seminar facilitated the exchange of best practices, strengthened competencies, and improved the efficiency of resource conservation efforts.

The Energy Dispatch Traction Automated Control System  provides comprehensive automation and information support for the accounting, monitoring, and analysis of electricity and diesel fuel consumption in rail transport.

The Integrated Driver Route Processing automated system generates a wide range of analytical and statistical reports—more than 145 forms accessible via a web interface. The system enables rapid analysis of locomotive utilisation, electricity and fuel consumption by type of operation, thereby promoting the efficient use of resources.

TripOptimizer is an intelligent locomotive control system being implemented at JSC NC KTZ to optimise fuel consumption, improve safety, and reduce emissions. The system automatically adjusts train speed and dynamic braking, taking into account the route profile and train parameters, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
