KTZ is carrying out major repairs to 16 rest houses for locomotive crews

As part of the Action Plan for the implementation of the concept for improving the living conditions of locomotive crews, KTZ is carrying out major repairs to 16 rest houses at the following stations: Atbasar, Yesil, Akadir, Kyzylzhar, Moiynty, Otar, Dostyk, Matai, Uralsk, Kandyagash, Zhem, Atyrau, Sagiz, Ganyushkino and Beineu. The work is being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

As of early July, repairs have been completed at the Yesil, Arka, Otar and Beineu stations. The facilities in Atbasar (92%), Kyzylzhar (95%), Uralsk (96%) and Dostyk are in the final stage.

After the repairs are completed, locomotive crews will be provided with modern and comfortable conditions for rest and recovery.
