KTZ is carrying out a large-scale modernization of railway stations across the country

NC Kazakhstan Temir ZholyJSC is implementing a large-scale project for the reconstruction and modernization of railway stations in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The program provides for the renovation of 125 railway stations across the country. The main goal of the project is to eliminate accumulated problems related to the deterioration of buildings and engineering systems, as well as to bring the stations into line with modern requirements for energy efficiency, fire safety and accessibility for people with disabilities.

Repair work is organized in such a way as to minimize inconvenience to passengers. At a number of stations, the main services of the stations and waiting rooms are temporarily located in neighboring buildings. Where this is not possible, modular pavilions with waiting areas are installed.

In addition, at the facilities where reconstruction is currently underway, preparatory measures are being taken for the winter period in order to provide possible conditions for passengers during the work.

The company notes that the project is being implemented in a comprehensive manner and is aimed at improving the quality of passenger service, as well as creating convenient and safe conditions for all categories of citizens.
