KTZ calls to keep safety rules on railway

In January-February 2025, 10 cases of collisions with people were recorded on the railway, of which four victims were intoxicated. In 2024, there were 75 cases of collisions with people. The main causes of incidents: violation of the rules for crossing railway tracks, alcohol intoxication, use of headphones and inattention of victims near the railway, cases of suicide. Of the total number of victims, 23 people were intoxicated.

Last year, thanks to the professionalism of locomotive crews, it was possible to prevent 649 cases of collisions with people.

KTZ reminds: the railway is a high-risk area. Pedestrians must strictly adhere to the rules of conduct: cross the tracks only in specially equipped places, be extremely careful, do not use headphones and do not be distracted by gadgets when near the tracks.

Compliance with safety rules will help avoid tragedies.
