KTZ and Wabtec Corporation Sign Cooperation Agreement on Personnel Development

During the President's official visit to the United States and his participation in the C5+1 Summit, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and Wabtec Corporation signed a cooperation agreement on personnel training and professional development.

According to the agreement, in 2027, Wabtec will organize training for KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC employees at its production facilities in the United States. The program is aimed at training, retraining, and upgrading specialists in the operation and maintenance of TE33AT series locomotives, including studying the features of the HPCR EVO diesel engine.

Following the completion of the first stage of the program, training will continue at Wabtec facilities in Kazakhstan. Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate from Wabtec confirming completion of the training.

In addition, Wabtec will continue to support internships and practical training for students and graduates of Kazakhstani universities selected through the Bolashak state program for training personnel abroad.

The agreement aims to develop human resources in Kazakhstan's railway industry, implement advanced technologies, and improve the efficiency of rolling stock operations.
