04-04-2025
A meeting of the company's management and a delegation from China, led by Mr. Zhu Chonglie, Secretary of Jinhua Municipal Party Committee of CPC, was held at NC KTZ JSC.
During the meeting, the parties discussed new areas of cooperation focused on expanding transit opportunities and improving the efficiency of multimodal transportation. They also discussed issues of forming an effective logistics infrastructure along the TITR route.
Following the negotiations, a subsidiary of KTZ (Kedentransservice JSC) and the largest transport and investment group Jinhua signed a Memorandum of Intent. The document is aimed at implementing a project to build a transport and logistics complex in Almaty.
The logistics complex will optimize processes, integrate international transport routes and create a single transport base for the largest logistics hubs in Kazakhstan and China. This will have a multiplier effect and open up new opportunities for intensifying trade and economic ties between the two countries.
The project includes the construction of a container site and modern warehouses that will allow for the consolidation of cargo in the export-import hub mode (total area of 17.9 hectares, design capacity of 300 thousand TEU per year).
