KTZ and CRCT: new agreements on the development of container transportation

On August 1, 2025, in Beijing, at the office of China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd. (CRCT), a working meeting was held between the delegation of the subsidiary of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC - KTZ Express, headed by General Director Damir Kozhakhmetov, and the management of CRCT, Mr. Zhong Cheng, General Director.

The parties agreed to work together to increase the volume of container transportation on the China-Europe, China-Russia, China-Belarus, as well as on the TITR and China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan routes. It is planned to create a working group to attract additional cargo flows and improve the efficiency of logistics routes. The development of the corridor to Europe via Iran and Turkey continues, and the possibility of increasing container shipments to the countries of Central Asia is also being considered.

The partnership of the companies, which began in 2021 with the signing of a strategic agreement, is bearing fruit. KTZ and CRCT are jointly developing transit container transportation, optimizing processes and opening up new directions for increasing transportation volumes.
